Suzanne Vega is folk?

Folk-rock. I'd say so.

Interesting. It strikes me in a very different—perhaps more intimate?—way. I don't like her voice as much as Tracy's, but it's gorgeous and affecting as well. I just think that keyboard production sounds super cheap (and a little too inauthentic for this song).

By the way, the line "I had a feeling that I belong, and I had a feeling that I could be someone, be someone.." has brought me teary -eyed quite a times

This is the best rendition I have ever heard. I think I love it as much as the original.

Tracy's entire discography is flawless.

I can never get enough of this one.

It's just "a moment" in music history.

This song touches me.

Comparing Tracy Chapman's version to Mutya's is like comparing Britney to Rebecca Black. Impossible. Mutya's take on the song is okay, but nothing will ever be close to good to Tracy's.
