I'm not Mexican, but I'm going to a festival today at my university to celebrate Independence Day...
I live on a border town and Mexico is pretty, just bad areas just like everywhere else.
No, I'm not because the current state of our country is just.... 'awful'.
But definitely our history and traditions **** on every ****ing single culture around the world. Yes, we have something to celebrate.
I'm not mexican but I know some mexicans that hate their country because of how things are going on. Insecurity, high poverty rate, drug cartels, basically some areas of the country are not ruled by government and many other problems.
IMO president Calderon's strategy is a fail, it caused more bloodshed. Let's hope a PRI president is elected, at least during those 70 years ruling the country things weren't that bad (at least by what i've read).
Anyways I'm Puerto Rican but I still think that Mexico has a beautiful culture, amazing ass food, and one of my best friends is also part-Mexican. I kinda used to be kinda "eh" about it, but over the last couple months my opinion has really changed. I'd love to go and visit there one day.
I like the country but being honest I'm not really proud of what's happening right now :-/. Btw I don't think this poll will get many posts since most of mexican/latin member don't get their asses outta the YTT/Games section

NO. I'm not here for a damn country in which a ****ing psycho can just kill you in a random day in the streets just because he wants to steal your phone.
And that's just to say the least. Education and employment opportunities are atrocious as well.
