Hmm...well I guess it is a ballad, although that definition is very vague.
I still say no. Althout it might sell more and peak higher than Everytime, it won't be as memorable or impactful as Everytime

They really thought ballads were those generic slow tempo songs popularized by artists such as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey.

Is Someday (I Will Understand) not on that list because it wasn't released in the US? I don't remember.
Anyways, I hope so. I'd rather it not be bigger than Everytime though, that song was epic.

It's a shame Britney got blacklisted.
All of those songs shoul've been top 10 hits. (with the exception of DLMBTLTK
) "Everytime" was a hit anyways.

ive been listening to Britney ballads all week
they are so rare even though she is amazing at slow songs. i want MOAR
i think Criminal will be big in the US and a few other countries. Her best ballad of all time is "Everytime" and that was a huge WW #1 so i don think it will outpeak that.
