Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord Let Go From 'Real Housewives Of New York'

Although Bravo usually catches all of the drama that goes down on "The Real Housewives of New York" on-camera, this time the drama is strictly behind the scenes.
Sources inside Bravo tell me that Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon have all be let go from the series and will not be returning as fulltime cast members next season.
The source explained that the women were directly contacted by Bravo on Thursday morning with the news -- they had no idea the pink slips were headed their way.
Now it's up to LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer (the only original cast members remaining) and Sonja Morgan to carry the show.
Plus Lesseps dished to New York Live yesterday that three new ladies will be added to the cast.
But according to another insider, the three housewives who were not invited back were told that they could possibly be reinstated next season if any of the new cast members don't work out -- and we're sure that Zarin, McCord and Bensimon have their fingers crossed that they won't.
Although we're excited to see some fresh blood on the show, we can't imagine the gang without the resident mean girls.

They fire Jill and Alex, but leave us with The ****ess, she is the most pointless of the original members

DEATH at Cindy being so UNIMPORTANT she's not even mentioned in the article. 
Should be interesting to see Luann this next season. 
Would be even better if a certain dark-haired getter-together came back.

Ramona is the only thing in the entire world that matters. As long as she's safe, I'm happy.
I'm a little bit sad about Alex. She annoyed me to no end in the earlier seasons, and her tendency to get involved in everyone else's drama is a little unnecessary, but I grew to like her more this season. When The Brunettes were being insufferable, delusional, bitches, Alex was able right through their nonsense.
And I'm absolutely thrilled Kelly and Jill were shown the door. Without Bethenny there to fued with, Kelly had no reason to even appear on the show. She's the definition of boring. And Jill is such a two-faced bitch and a pathological liar. I'm getting pissed off just thinking about it and I'm feeling the urge to go mean tweet and cyberbully her with Simon. (That NEVER happened, for anyone who was misled by her victim act.)

Totally. The show doesn't work if Jill comes off as "likeable," or Kelly "sane" - which is why season 4 sucked the big one. (Cindy was the other reason). Bethenny was crucially the balance, and without her that cast toppled.

I'm a bit sad Alex is gone too, once she finally became her own character they just fire her like that... I can't.
Kelly is a disusting deluded pig and Jill is tired as ****. Goodbye to both of them.

I really didn't find Sonja that likable this season, and that was sorta upsetting because I loved her so much during season 3. I would have been alright if they had cut her as well.

I am just happy to see ****Ann gone, she claims to be so 'classy' yet she talks the most **** out of all the ladies and still tries to play the moral highground. After Russell's suicide it's clear that Bravo doesn't want to risk dealing with the 'crazy' people anymore, so Andy glady gave Kelly the ole pink slip.

How many black women live on the Upper East Side? I'm UES-adjacent and I can tell you - few and far between. This show is as HONEST in its depiction of ITS New York as SATC was.
