AN add-on for Firefox. They're usually HQ, but the GIFs still turn out a mess.
Oh! I use Real Player to snatch videos! I also trim the part of the GIF I want in Real Player. I then save the file as an flv. I use a program called YouTube Downloader to convert my flv files into high quality mov files for Photoshop. (You can also use Youtube Downloader to snatch videos but I prefer real player because I can just trim the video right away). I import my newly converted mov file into Photoshop and then make my avi. This takes like 4 minutes to do.
It depends on the video and how you optimize it. Gifs can only contain 256 colours. You can edit your videos before you make your gif to tweak the colours and stuff so that there are less, too.
I wanna know how to make a gif that uses more than one video. I want to take clips from two videos and have them run through like normal. I'm sure it's an obvious answer, but I can't think of it.
