No it wont. Neither of the previous films came close, so there's very little to indicate that either of the next two will.

It's true. Majority of the fanbase when the franchise started were 12 and 13 year old girls. But by now, they've all grown up and grown away from that. At the end of the day, it's really a kid book. And once the kids grow up, they're less interested in seeing the film.
Plain and simple, the books' fanbase grew up. I don't see this film doing as well as the others. (Plus, this story was by far the worst of all 4 books.)
But if it does...good for Summit. As for us, we only have to endure 2 more of these films before we're free. XD

The highest grossing Twilight movie was New Moon which only grossed $709.8 WW.
Eclipse grossed $698.5, which already was a sign the series was losing momentum.
Im sure the opening weekends will be huge, not 'Potter' huge but big nonetheless.
Unfortunately these movies suffer from bad word of mouth & only appeal to a small demographic so the billion will never happen.

I doubt it, but who knows. The books are better than the movies, but I think a lot of people are most interested to see how "Breaking Dawn" would pan out. Out of everybody I know that's ever spoken of Twilight, they're usually interested in seeing the last movie because they want to know how the scenes will look on screen.

Nope. I think it will be the least successful one after Twilight. There's no hype.
