I think Rihanna and Nicki are the hottest features of the moment and that they both deserve it. However Rihanna is not a features artist because she has had enormous success on her own. She maybe just loves working with other people, I'm sure artists get asked to do features all the time, Rihanna just says yes a lot, she most likely enjoys it.

Her industry peers and critics disagree.

She said she wants to be apart of hits and collaborations btw pop/ R&B singers and rap artists generally are successful. Definately on Urban and then when her name is added to the bill it gets pop exposure.


EDIT Gaga is the most respected pop star in the industry and then Bey. They are inter-changeable but I think that is correct. Then of course there's Adele. Rihanna isn't highly praised like the ones listed above.
