Oh and as a vocal technician (you can KEEP your "soul" b.s., we're here for objectivity), Beyonce is above the others. She was trained operatically. That kind of training makes your voice LAST and LAST. The things she can do with her voice (not just yell high notes into a mic) are unparalled. Sorrrrry.

Beyonce's ability to create melodic lines with her voice, as well as the different ways she uses the dynamics, tonalities of the voice to create little nuances in her performances remains unmatched. She sounds right at home no matter which genre she does.

Rock, pop, Jazz, Country, Gospel, Opera, Blues and so on. Kelly's done it all. Beyonce isnt the only artist who can do it all. Sorry.
Well I still favour Beyonce, I was always impressed with her more. Don't know if it's because I just like her tone more, or the way she uses her voice seemed more thrilling.

I guess I was just a bit frustrated because alot of people downplay Kelly's talent because she may not show it off as much as other performers. Beyonce is an amazing vocalist also though. She's one of the few who keeps getting more and more amazing vocally with age tbh.

Beyonce is the voice of the this generation; the leader of terrible singers. I would take American idol rejects over her. The first time I heard our beloved beyonce, I rolled on floor and said singing lessons. I can't comment on her being the best performer, I don't like her voice so I don't watch her as an entertainer. I thought her best song was the brokenhearted girl. I was listening to that song at the gym and I started laughing. I think country songs will be good for her. I give her credit because she can have people call her a great vocalist. I'll be honest and say Jenifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and many others need singing lesson too.
Depends on how one defines "voice of the generation." Christina has the most beautiful voice. Beyonce is the best technical vocalist. This poll should only be between these two.
Until other artist/public figures, and not stans/fans come out and say the other three, besides Xtina, is the voice of our generation, then this thread is pointless. We keep telling you all the Xtina stans didn't give Christina that title, her peers did; Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion, Britney, etc...so stop making these dumbass threads that's only gonna start drama.
