Music can bring memories of certain places and events, can't believe it's been 10 years since that tragic day. even MTV interrupted their schedule I remember waiting for TRL. I just didn't know the impact of 9/11.
Anyone remember some of these songs?
This was one of the first vids I watched on MTV, Janet looked so pretty in here I fell in love sadly it was Janet's last top 10 hit and won't return to the top 20 until 2008.
It's amazing how many of those songs are regarded as some of the best of the decade. I know that when I think of the early 2000s, those songs are some of the first that come to mind. Such a great year in music.
Let me tell you how much I hated "Differences" from Ginuwine, "Rock The Boat" from Aaliyah and "U Got It Bad" by Usher during that time when nothing was on TV but 9/11 so I use to listen to the Radio and these songs would be constantly played and made me tear.
