I don't agree. They have humour...but they get the message across. The Britney one is pretty powerfull...there loads of straight couples that know each five minutes...can get wasted and get hitched in vegas...while there are gay couples who have been together for 20 years and can't get married.

I agree that the Britney one is very speaking, but all these jokes about designing wedding dresses and ****? I'm smart enough to realize they're ironic, but to the people whom these messages are directed at, they just confirm their ****ed up beliefs.

I like humour in protest signs. I think they catch the eye. A lot of the one's during the Pope's visit to the UK were hilarious.
