And sure, Adele is a tad overrated but that doesn't mean she's a fat fad. Her 21 songs are beautiful but they don't really explore territory we've never seen: they're regular breakup songs made by more commercial producers than the ones who worked on 19.
BUT her voice is very unique, especially in this day and age. It's smoky, raspy, passionate, transcends her young age and when she performs she communicates sooo much power and emotion not just with her voice but with her facial expressions too. She doesn't need to scream to make her point across:

Christina's got a really really great voice if she just doesn't oversang her songs. The first time I was really impressed by her vocals was when she performed at the Emmy Awards.

1st off, Celine is the only one you listed that was ever considered the best vocalist in the world. Look the fact remains, and you can be mad all you want, Xtina is and always will be considered one of the greatest vocalist on the entire planet. You can sit here, conjure up some elaborate list of why she's not but the fact is, the media and the general public says otherwise. Celine, Whitney, Patti, Aretha, Etta, Gladys, etc...all have praised the voice that is Christina-MOTHER****ING-Aguilera. So, you and no one else can ever change that.
Just like I don't understand why certain artist today is so popular, you'll never understand why Xtina is highly praised as one of the greatest vocalist EVER. It is what it is and you can't change that, boo.
