I'm sorry but she's right. If your a TALENTED musician, you should sell your MUSIC and your VOICE. If you want to sell your body, don't be an artist, be a model, better yet, a *****. She might not get the sales of Rihanna or Britney, but she's true to herself and her music, and for me, that's WAYYY BETTER than talk about sex in literally all of your songs. But what can we do? I guess some singers *cough* *****s can't, and WILL NEVER HAVE THE TALENT THAT LEONA HAS

It's takes a very simple mentality to conclude a a woman's talent based solely on the clothes she chooses to wear. Maybe Leona has been conducting top secret studies, but as far as I'm aware there has never been an inverse relationship between the amount of clothes worn and a persons talent, and therefore she will remain pissed.

Dead. We will NOT pretend that most of these "sexually liberated" artists would be in the same spot or as relevant if they were forced to rely on their vocal/musical talents alone.

There's nothing wrong with dressing or acting suggestively. But when 99% of your songs, performances, and image is centered around sex, its more than just being sexy for the hell of it but more so being sexy because that is the only way you can successfully market yourself. It's sad, for both women and men.

Also its kind of contradictory to call people who think like Leona simple minded but then use rebuttals such as, "She's just pressed because she looks like a horse/doesn't have a body to flaunt/ isn't cute, etc...," which isn't any less ignorant.

But what's wrong with talking about sex in all your songs? Sex is a big part of life, even though ppl don't want to admit it. And just because she can sing doesn't mean she's better artist, her music is boring and bland. The songs on her last album sound like rejected Kelly Clarkson demos.
