ATRL: Will Jennifer Hudson win another Oscar?

With the merging of the Grammy nominations, it will probably be hard for her to win another Grammy this year - she'll for sure be nominated though.

But she has "Winnie" coming out in December, just in time for submissions for Oscar nominations.

What do you think:

I think she will be nominated, maybe win if it really is good. She stayed in a jail for two days to prepare for a part of the film.

She had the whole "big fat girl who got cut from American Idol, but performed a showstopping, iconic song" factor going for her. She isn't that great of an actress, and she will not be winning anymore Oscars anytime soon.

I can't at some of you. Her performance in "Dreamgirls" is absolutely Oscar worthy. Her "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" is the best vocal performance of the whole decade

I think she is a very good actress hence I have no doubt that in the future she might win another Oscar, but I don't think she deserved it for Dreamgirls. Yes, she was amazing, but the other nominees >

I'm not gonna make any judgments as to whether she deserves to win an Oscar for a film that I've yet to see, but I do agree with people on this thread that her Oscar win for Dreamgirls wasn't deserved at all. OK performance at best, but nothing mind-blowing at all.

Jennifer was getting standing ovations in the theater during the film when she sang. That is the first time in film history that has happened. It was a musical. She out sang everyone in the film. Out performed everyone in the supporting actress catagory that year. There will be no re-writing of histrory on this subject, She was the only unanimous choose that year. Won every film award that year for supporting actress. No confusion just check the records.
