Finally there is a safe haven for all the performers and fans of musical theatre on ATRL. In this thread you can discuss what theatre companies you're with or have worked with, your own personal musical theatre resume, what musical your school is putting on this year, your favorite musical, personal experiences, and much much more. Even those who help with pit orchestra and stage hands are welcome here. It's about time ATRL had a thread for this.

My Musical Theatre History:
- 8th Grade: Student in Hooray for Hollywood
- 9th Grade: Crapshooter in Guys & Dolls
- 10th Grade: Wickersham Brother in Seussical

I don't do musicals outside of school. I see them as more of a hobby than a passion. But I do try my hardest. This year my school is putting on Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and auditioned for the role of Lionel, but I'll take any role. And there is some stiff competition this year.

My Musical Theater History
-11th grade: A Choclate Affair.

My favorite musicals are Rent and Hairspray. My all time favorite is Rent. I dont think any other musical can come close to that one, it is amazing in every single way possible. Ive always wanted to audition for the part of Maureens girlfriend, because she's the only black woman in the play, in plus she's fiesty and I love the songs she sings

Love this ****. I actually don't like musicals that much, but I love singing/performing/dancing, so I do it? Plus all the people inmy college troupe by crazy.

I got to a performing arts school and major in Musical Theater.

I've neve peformed but I LOVE watching and listenin to musicals. Actually went and saw 'Love Never Dies' just last week.
