Okay, this game is going to almost the same as the VMA prediction game. I'll give you guys 4 categories (the 4 biggest) with a 5th as a tiebreaker. You have to list 5 nominees for each category - no more, no less. Good luck!!
(Remember, the eligibility period is from October 1st, 2004 - September 31st, 2005)
*Green Day are only eligible this year for two awards (ROTY and Short Form Video)
*Fiona Apple and Franz Ferdinand's albums were released AFTER the deadline, but were shipped to stores BEFORE the deadline, so they're eligible.
*Stevie Wonder's album was released AFTER the deadline, but was available for legal download BEFORE the deadline, so it's eligible as well. )

Song of the Year (goes to songwriters only)
Record of the Year (goes to producers and artists)
Best New Artist (For any artist that has BROKEN THROUGH through the eligiblity period.)

(BTW, the Grammys love to nominate veterans (Read: old fogies) so here are the highest-profile vets who released stuff throughout the eligibility period:
Stevie Wonder, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Herbie Hancock, Paul McCartney, Bonnie Raitt and of course U2)
Also, some people that are presenting the nominations - John Legend, Natasha Bedingfield, Big and Rich, Patti Labelle.
