Degrassi has been around 4 lots of years now but i really want to know which one is better the old or new im going with the old they talked real stuff now i think degrassi went down hill now.
The new one is too polished and melodramatic. I don't know if they changed writers or producers, but it ain't the same. Now Or Never was hit or miss. Couldn't really get into it. I'm too old for it now anyway.
Pretty random thread, but I'm like Degrassi's biggest fan on this forum... I've seen every episode since 2001 and I love the series as a whole. However, obviously it was at it's highest peak from 2001-2005. They still do a solid job at tackling present day issues among adolescents.
The Next Generation (Emma, Spinner, Manny, Paige, Hazel, Ellie, Jimmy etc.)
The new one doesn't feel the same. It's something to watch when I'm bored, but I don't really follow it. After JT died, it all went downhill.

I mean both the 80's and the 2001 reboot. After all these new fools showed up, took over, and ruined it. I hate all the new cast. But I did LOVE the music video for VV Brown's 'Shark In The Water' they did, incorporating it into the show.
