For me "Blackout" is somewhat entertaining, but that's all. It's stripped of any sensitivity. She sounds too sharp and flattened, and it's emotionally a massive downgrade from her previous work. She has proved that she was a smart businesswoman by hiring the best even when she wasn't at her best, but I've always seen "Blackout" rather as a producer's showcase, than Britney's. I almost hate it because I see it as a soundtrack for those days of Britney drinking, smoking, and acting recklessly.
I do love "Piece Of Me."
But Britney is the executive producer of the album and therefore she was just showcasing herself.
When will we expect a download week in the UK for Oops! on exhale?
It actually may have passed 1m by now, if you factor in sales from the Baby One More Time/Oops!... I Did It Again boxset. HMV have been selling those for years. We'll probably never get those sales though, so who knows?
lol how is ITZ more hands on than Blackout bro? I know she wrote/co-wrote on ITZ but she did on Blackout as well, and co-produced, was in charge of pretty much the entire album and choose the musical direction in which she wanted the album to go. It was electro pop because she wanted to be, she choose the producers + writers. Was in charge of the track listing, etc.
There will be three official versions: the "Femme Fatale" album version, the "B in the Mix" album version (the CCW remix,) and the third (radio) version with a different tempo we know nothing about yet. That version isn't one of them. That's a fanmade remix.
How do you know that? Has that been confirmed? I so hope the single is not remixed like at least im thankful to god for this crap being fake.

There is only truth in this post!
I love how she turned down working with Timbaland for this album when he was still hit **** She foresaw his fate alright

I personally don't think either is more above the other in Britney's involvement. She was the hands of both, equally in production, sound, and so forth.
We all know how hard she went in for In The Zone, but some of her fans ignore that she began recording for Blackout even while pregnant with Jayden (late 2005-2006). Not just randomly recorded tracks while she was partying/drinking after birth/divorce.

She was indulged more than ever. The entire album was all killer, no filler. Freed from Max Martin. A bunch of different collaborators, including Madonna, Moby, Matrix, Trixster, Roy Hamilton, Bloodshy & Avant, and R. Kelly. She had developed as both a songwriter and an artist. She experimented with new wave, dance, house, crunk, reggae, trance, Diwali beats, and Neptunes-style hip-hop, including various subgenres of pop, and she took her biggest musical risks. Her best work yet. Her best era yet. Art tbh.
Then how much has it sold to date Duca? I was recently told it sold about a mil. in the U.S. but has sold around 3.1 mil. W.W.
It should be approaching the 3 million mark worldwide, but the 3.1 million are shipments, and it's a number that was released back in November 2008, when it was barely (if?) at 2 million.
