It seems Pixie Lott knows exactly what her mama would do if she acted like the late Rehab star Amy Winehouse. "If I even came close to that, my mum would take me and lock me up in her house,” admits the 20-year-old in The Mail on Sunday
The Without You singer’s comments leave us in no doubt she’s determined not to let fame change her, saying, “I'm not going to do anything that will damage my voice because my voice is my career and singing is my passion. I was singing in the cot and I'll still be singing when they're nailing down my coffin.” Pixie also hit out at those who suggest she’s a “manufactured pop puppet”, she insists she marches to her own beat. “I’ve been working obsessively in the studio since my mid-teens, I don’t think you need to live that way to be a rock star”.
What part of Pixie not wanting to be a drug addict offends you exactly?
Am I supposed to applaud her for this?

I think it's a tad insensitive making sweeping comments about Amy Winehouse. Unless you have dealt with an addict you really have no idea. If solving alcohol and drug abuse was as simple as 'locking me up in the house' then there would be no addicts at all!

Wow, she knows quite a lot for a 20 year old. She comes across very arrogant which is odd considering she lists it as a turn off. In my opinion her music is pretty average and Amy Winehouse had more talent in her little finger. She obviously doesn't understand drug addiction and if I was amy's mother I would take her words as a personal insult!

How disrespectful, just weeks after the death of the singer, with her family still in mourning, to basically say her parent's didn't do enough... I'm sure her parents tried everything. I have never liked pixie's attitude that she is better than everyone else. how immature.
