Well, this could be looked at as fiction, but it's something called the "Bule" or "Bulay" or whatever it's called. I think there are videos of people talking about it. It sounds dumb, but it's not like he hasn't been accused of being in the closet.
Yeah, he obviously does need to be educated a bit regarding the assumption that all gay men have AIDS and whatnot, but aside from that (and he still meant no harm in that assumption, it's just an erroneous one), he seems to be a hell of a lot more tolerant and open-minded than most mainstream rappers regarding this issue. I hope more rappers come out with a similar attitude, and homophobia in hip-hop as a whole is no longer a cool thing. Honestly, it's one genre of music that I didn't expect to be stuck in the medieval times when it comes to this.
at Man-Fan. And Those lips he has.
He did have a lot to say. Even if he's not gay I'm glad he's more open-minded on a subject like this than others. But he sure was sipping that tea hard. Maybe it was the question itself or his tea about to get clocked on cam. Who knows. He still fine though
Omg... he did NOT say all gay men have AIDS.... Get over it. He was saying if a guy is sleeping around with men while trying to act straight, chances are he's being a bit more shady and might be putting himself at risk for contracting AIDS, or any other STD, that he could spread to a girl he's sleeping with to cover up his homosexuality. He didn't say all gay men had AIDS, or even imply that... He's down with the gays... and that's more than can be said for some others (like 50...). However, it's a reality that HIV is a high risk in both gay and African-American communities (especially young African-American women). Lil Wayne's "How to Love" video touched on the same thing, just in a slightly different way.
LOL ... he got so nervous when he heard "gays" for the first time in this interview... You can tell he's not confortable with this theme...
Maybe he has a secret... I wonder...
