Do you consider Nicola Roberts underrated or does her music not entertain you?


In my opinion, she's in route to release one of the greatest albums of the year, but it will more than likely be incredibly underrated and will come and go without the attention it deserves. I really think the blame can be put on the fact that she's only promoting in the US. She's such an It-girl, with her beauty and fashion really eclipsing most other artists today. Plus, her music received great reviews in the US only for it to be completely ignored and only put on iTunes for a few days.

Pardonnez-moi? Nobody knows her here in the US. Her problem is that she's too physically awesome to be popular.

It's mostly promotion tho. GET THIS GIRL ON THE X-FACTOR.

Because she released the wrong first single.

Wrong single first? Beat of my Drum was amazing! But she was dumb to limit the release to the UK.

Her promo was fine.

BOMD is not a UK-type single. It's not something that the UK would openly accept and receive. It should have received a full European release, though.

Lucky Day probably should have been the first single.

I agree with this actually. For the most part, Americans ten to hate on UK music only to follow in their footsteps several years later.

They are trying to "Beyonce" her, but I really think she should shine. Cheryl Cole had her chance(s).

I, for one, LOVE UK music. And Lucky Day is one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time.
