I think U&I is a reasonable choice for the single cuz ballad sells album,and people start caring more about ballads after the huge smash RITD.And it works well.
For the next single,I hope she'll release MTN.She needs a sure-fire hit now to keep the album going until the holiday and MTN is the obvious choice
After that she can choose a more risky and experimental song like HML/Scheisse/GH(remix) so people could see the other side of the album
Interscope probably saw the flood of slower songs and didn't want to miss the opportunity.

Also, on the album release, the only born this way song I remember my radio station playing that wasn't already a single was in fact Scheisse. But I was at work until like 4pm that day....so maybe they played others, but I KNOW they played Scheisse.
