Marilyn Manson has announced the title of his eighth studio album, "Born Villain", due out some time this next year. It is his first effort to be released under his new vanity label, "Hell, etc." (part of "Cooking Vinyl").
On May 22, 2011, Marilyn Manson released an "excerpt from an undisclosed song with an unreleased title."
I Am Among No One
On August 28, 2011, Marilyn Manson's short film, also titled "Born Villain" (see poster above), was released, containing samples of his new music in the film's score. The film was directed by Shia LaBeouf.
Said film can be found at bornvillain.com, and, as can be expected from Marilyn Manson, contains graphic scenes not suitable for everyone.

I am just a big a manson stan as i am a gaga/madonna stan! So YES! I saw the born villain video directed by shia lebouf THE SECOND it leaked. I've been keeping up new album details for MONTHS now- i used to google 'manson' news every other week incase i may have missed some new details. So yes- i am obsessed.
The new song featured in the born villain video is called 'No Reason' and with this video he is back to his old shock-art self so I couldn't be happier. In todays music shock is the center of attention! Look at the VMAs- everyone was not dressed to impress but instead dressed to SHOCK. If manson cannot make a comeback now then he will never make a comeback ever. Everything is setup perfectly for him all he has to do is bring the music.

His last album was actually pretty awesome, especially compared to the era before that that felt kindov like an emo mess. Even he admits it wasn't his best work and that he doesn't listen to the Eat Me, Drink Me album.
High End of Low though, that was good. I was like you then, googling him to see if there were any new leak on a daily basis.
This album sounds promising from the few snippets we've got. Now that he's under new management, in more control than he was with Interscope, he can really let loose. I love all the weird bible references, all the Shakespeare, even the Greek mythology, it's really neat so far.
I loved the high end of low- but I just wish we can get omega back.
They said its gonna sound like mechanical animals but more punk rock- THEY CANT TEASE ME LIKE THAT.
Mechanical Animals is my favorite album of all time.
So if this album doesn't deliver- and they compared it to mechanical animals... im gonna be pissed.
But does anyone know how Shia filmed that video? Seems like a very odd combo.
