I really hope he crossed the million mark, even thought I'm not the biggest fan of this album

Everyone makes out TC3 to be extremely frontloaded. It may have opened with a third of it's total sales in the end, but it sold 3 million no matter what & spent like 15 weeks in the the Top 10 (all the way into October). His albums usually have good longetivity that's respectable. I have yet to see an extremely frontloaded album come from him.

I'm not shading or anything (please take a look at my signature), but when you think the most popular artist in the US, you think Lady Gaga. But then you come to notice he very well might break 1mil without Amazon, which Gaga couldn't do without, and maybe would've hit 700-800k without it (taking in the fact that people who had plans to buy it already but just bought it on Amazon instead), so he'd easily outsell her with such a small fraction of the promo. He had the VMAs, the New Years Eve thing (which barely counts ) and SNL.

Although Wayne isn't one of my faves, it's insane how much of an audience he has that will just buy his album, lots of promo to get the word out or not, and how rap music seems to gain more direct support with less promo (like Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, & The Throne, some of the biggest debuts of the last 12 months).
