First of all, Syd - one of his closest friends, OFWGKTA member and DJ during live shows - is a lesbian. Tyler and company have been more than supportive of her.
Secondly, in several - not just one, not just an interlude - songs on GOBLIN, Tyler makes it completely clear that he is not actually homophobic.
OFWGKTA-bashers, please feel free to do your research. Especially regarding Syd.
