I hope Gaga, RiRi and Ke$ha continue putting out catchy singles while getting bigger album sales.
finally I have some respect for RiRi and Ke$ha for releasing catchy music.
I hope Kelly Clarkson can comeback successfully.
Madonna, Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera. i'm not so interest with because they are not from my generation. I've only heard few songs of them like 4 minutes, revolver, obssesed, We belong together, Don't forget about us, hurt and beautiful that's all.
So i don't mind they comeback but i doubt any of them will pull a 21 or BTW figures.

Gurls...lets stop acting like Mariah is going to interfere with any Pop gurls this day and age.
She has had her success, its been amazing, but she is not going to come back harder than anyone right now.
As far as I see, Britney is slowly dying. Her album sales have decreased immensely, along with tour grosses and single sales. She can have a popular song on radio and iTunes, but she can never seem to have digital longevity or album longevity. Unless she starts pulling incredible performances, I dont see her ever regaining her once Pop crown.
Beyonce will finish off this era, which will probably be successful, just under IA...SF and take a break for her family.
Christina Aguilera has the ability to come back hard with the right music and timing of her being on The Voice.
Katy Perry may not ever top the Teenage Dream era, but I dont see her fading so soon. She's going to remain extremely popular for another two years at least, then time will tell if she will fade.
Ke$ha will remain successful for at least another album.
ADELE will have huge success with SLY and SFTR and then I'm unsure of what her third album will do.
Lady Gaga could either go up up up with this era or down down down after You and I. I think whatever happens, she will remain successful for at least another 5 years.
Rihanna doesnt ever seem to be slowing down, and she stays popular and one of the biggest pop stars in the world. Unless the re-release or EP or new album or whatever is a flop mess and disaster, I see her staying one of the biggest pop stars for another few years, especially with her performance improvements and just now having the biggest tour of her life!

Agree with everything said.

Not to mention that almost everyone in YG family knows English; they're the most likely to succeed overall.
I think as soon as America remembers they put Far East Movement to number one, as well as Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda and the like, they'll remember Asians can make awesome music. The conditions are about the best they've been since around 1999. It's time.

Not to mention the Korean music market has grown rapidly over the last few years, it's probably be in the top 5 soon.
It's getting hard to ignore.

"When in doubt predict the current trend will continue."
Mainstream music will continue to put out recycled crap until some real talent comes around.

Dancepop will fade by the end of 2012, mark my words. We're reaching the point where the songs are starting to repeat and no one's pushing it further.
Dubstep looks set to be the next "big" pop thing, unfortunately.
