It's Xtina's 5th #1 like someone pointed out....

Aside from the fact that the single got an initial nudge from "the Voice", in reality Christina fans can not be discredited for pushing the song. By requesting, "download days", Twitter TT's and so on... As much as this is a victory for Maroon 5, it would have been interesting to see how it would have preformed without Xtina as a feature. ...I dont think it would have got to #1. Speculation, but judging by M5's recent peaks on the BB100, not very far-fetched.
My point is, slice and dice it all you want - had it not been for certain fans consistently requesting to radio we might not be "celebrating" this victory.

Christina gets credit the same as any other featured artist.

The Voice is going to milk this #1 so much. 'Starring two of our four judges Adam & Christina - who recorded a smash together" or something.

I don't like when they start shading saying that they gained relevancy for being in a reality show: OTF was a massive hit WW and let's not act as if AI was relevant in other countries to help it go @ #1 there too, the same situation applies to Adam & X-tina

Can Moves Like Jagger just go away I'd rather Party Rock Anthem 24/7.

I honestly believe Lambada the song was the more important reason On The Floor smashed so hard. And I believe Moves Like Jagger could have been a hit anyway - I love the song - but it's not like they would have recorded it together if it wasn't for The Voice.

I'm sure OTF would've done well without AI but I don't think quite AS well as it did. I definitely think the show helped her regain momentum in all aspects of her career, including music, television & movies. She was struggling, career-wise, more than she had before the show.

Maroon 5 were struggling too. So was Christina.

The weekly exposure helps. And sometimes once a song blows up in the US, it blows up WW (i'm not sure how well OTF was doing before the debut week in the states).

Plus OTF is J. Lo's most radio-friendly song in years, just like Jagger is exactly what people want right now. It's a combination of increased exposure & giving the people what they want musically imo.

As much fun as it is to shade xtina, it should be counted as her song as well. Everyone counts telephone as beyonce's hit as well and she sings about the same amount of lines that xtina sings in this song.....
