That doesn't mean anything; they always turn the mic on at the end of a lip synched performance in case the performer wants to say something to make it look like they were singing live.

More than likely Bey had another mic attached to her which would explain why she took the earpieces(so that she could hear herself) out of her ear first before she dropped her mic and opened her jacket.
