To celebrate the 2011 Video Music Awards, we asked Billboard.com readers to pick the best performances in VMA history -- and not surprisingly, pop megastars including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga came out on top of the tally. Well, we camped out on the black carpet on Sunday and came away with similar picks. Stars, they're just like us!

It's not really shade but tbh I didn't know Xtina was involved in that performance until I joined ATRL and found SYG.

Someone who has her as an "all-time" anything clearly hasn't been listening to music very long, is all I'm saying.
