Carmen Electra, Leslie Nielsen and Simon Rex will star in Scary Movie 4 for Dimension Films, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Electra, who died in the original installment of the "Scary Movie" franchise, is back to play a new character in a plotline that parodies The Village. Nielsen and Rex will reprise their roles from Scary Movie 3.
Anna Faris and Regina Hall already have boarded the project. The film opens with a scene featuring Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil.
The fourth chapter of the spoof franchise takes on horror and superhero movies.

I'm not sure about Simon Rex in that one. I mean, the "8 Mile" parody was nice and all, but I think they pretty much ran out of good jokes regarding those situations in the middle of "SM3".
