I much prefer the RITD video to the Firework one. Firework looks nice and polished, but it couldn't be more trite, corny & obvious. Gay and leukemia kids running around as fireworks explode from her breasts ? Maybe the worst video of the TD era.
The RITD video is more interesting, and has a classic look/feel. And say what you will about those glasses doing more movement than Adele - I thought they were an interesting and memorable touch.
If Katy can't win a fan-voted award against Adele, Tyler, Beastie Boys & Bruno Mars, then I don't know what to say.
The thing is that the ppl who vote for the VMAs are ****ing Britney, Beyoncé and Gaga stans. Adele doesn't have stans, but all those huge stanbases are probably are voting against Katy. Its not Katy stans who decide here.
Though I don't see it happening. Adele doesn't have the Internet base to do it.
