More videos would retire if they had TRL on fridays as well. I remember Brandy's Full Moon made it on for 41 days (10 days at #1) in 2002, but if they had shown TRL on Fridays it would have had 47 days (the last day it was on before falling and never returning) and I think her fans would have voted those 3 days to retire her. The same thing happened with Beyonce's Crazy in Love (41 days), they premiered it on making the video, yet TRL premiered it two weeks after that (with TRL on Fridays it would have had more days on).

how many videos this year have made it up to at least 35 days and then either fell off or were replaced? i can think of a lot that should've retired this year including:

So far, the only video for Fall Out Boy that's made TRL has retired (Sugar, We're Goin' Down). So actually, it wouldn't be a first.
