We reported Monday that Natali Germanotta, Lady Gaga's younger sister, is designing costumes for an off-Broadway show. Naturally, the singer's stylistic influence on her sibling is inevitable, but word is they will be collaborating in an official capacity for an upcoming clothing line. The look: "To remodel the styles of classic icons from the past, for example, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, and Katherine Hepburn," but with some severe twists, of course.

While nothing Lady Gaga ever wears is really that practical (hello, thongs in winter and a mermaid tail that requires a wheelchair), everything she wears is unique and, invariably, awesome. That’s why we’re actually kind of excited that Momma Monster is planning to collaborate with her younger sister, Natali Germanotta, on a fashion line.
When will we be able to wear pieces of couture from the Haus of Germanotta?
According to Grazia, the fashion line will have a lot of retro Hollywood glam mixed with edgy fabric options: “The glamorous styles will each come with a twist—like the white Marylin dress made up in kinky rubber.”
While Gaga is the musician in the family, Natali is a 19-year-old freshman at Parson’s and might have potential to become the next up-and-coming fashion designer. The rest of the press is hating on the idea, but we are all about talented, creative sisters getting together and taking advantage of the system to release their art.
It's getting annoying for damn near every celebrity to have a clothing line.
And it's quite easy to find clothes that are made in the style of old-Hollywood glamour. I don't know what "twist" they will bring into it that will make it unique. Gaga's spreading herself too thin now.
