You can get the app but you need the premium plan for 9.99$. Spotify has built in scrobbling so you just put your last.fm user/pass in the settings and it'll submit everything to last.fm

Since I got spotify, I haven't use Itunes/AmazonMP3 once.

Same with Pandora Radio too.

Been listening to so many albums that I would otherwise never listen to. It's great.
