According to Variety, Janet will be in a film called "tennesee" where she will play a chubby waitress. It is starring Martin Henderson and Macaulay Culkin.
Here is some info on the film.
JA: What is going to be your next film?
LD: I’m producing a film called Tennessee. It’s a about a young boy and his relationship with his brother. They both come from an abusive father and decide to runaway. The young boy finds out that he is dying of cancer and has to go back to his father for a bone marrow transplant and deals with the irritate father. We are in the preproduction stages and we start shooting October 31st. David Cronenberg’s nephew, Aaron Willy, is the director. He’s brilliant. This the best part of the filmmaking process for me. I love to research, look at and study directors then match them up with a particular story
hah!
does she wants to win an Oscar?? because when actors usually make a big change for their role, they win it. though there have been plenty of exeptions.
ignore this...
She's been underweight for so long and worked out so much during that time that yes, it is 'normal' for her to swing the other way for a while, that is what generally happens to many in that situation.
If it's for a movie then whatever, but if not I don't see anything wrong with it either, a person with her routine will find a happy medium soon enough.
How do you know she was underweight before? We all know those abs were enhanced with make up.
At 5ft4 she should have been around 130lbs but it seems she was 117lbs. Also, make up or not, she was in good condition and has been a dancer for a very long time - in those circumstances if you have a decent amount of body fat, I can't remember how much a women should generally have, around 18% or abit less, she would have been heavier with the muscle but if she was 117 or less then 130 that means she had a lower fat:muscle ratio and hence was lighter which meant she was underweight.
(Just for general info, it is dangerous [hormonally] for a woman to have less then 8-10% body fat as it can mess with the period etc - and an athlete usually borders or risks that whereas someone who is fit, healthy, toned - generally more healthy then a normally healthy person - had around 10-15% body fat.)
I never realy considered her underweight, she always looke pretty healthy to me. Big Boobies, nice abs, and then she had nice legs and stuff. I guess the tv can distort that, but in her "All Nite" vid and in JD's vid she looked fit and the right weight. Hopefully it is just for the movie.
Being approx 2 stone overweight isn't that bad, she's never been really overweight in her entire life right? So what, people don't have to be in peak physical condition all the time and she's doing it for a reason, it wont last forever and again, it's not that bad jeez might as well burn her at the stake.
Those clothes also don't help, that amount of weight can easily be hidden, disguised and even complimented with other styles but for what she was doing there she obviously didn't want them.
Yeah she doesnt have to be in peak condition all the time. But she let herself go big time! Shes so much bigger than she was. The whole jackson familys going to hell.
It's not big time, it's 30lbs, it's not a major thing, most people put that on when they go to uni alone and like I said she's doing it for a reason i.e. a film. It's like people expect others to look gorgeous or slender all the time and when they don't they're suddenly ugly or fair game to laugh at and just a note for the sake of it - 30lbs is not endangering her health especially when she's probably being advised by nutritionists and it doesn't mean she can't look beautiful.
