I didn't realize this. That's bananas. Between 19 and 21, she has sold over 10 million albums this year. Columbia/XL must be extremely happy and cashing in.
I was thinking about it too, this is so amazing. Look at Recovery, it just now sold 4 Million copies in one year while 21 is already at 3 million in 6 months.
Although I'm sure that if they decide to ***** out the singles and milk this album for all that it is worth (which could end up being quite a pretty amount), then I will be so sick of it.
My faith in humanity is restored, knowing that excellent music like this is being purchased by this much people not just in the States, but all around the world.
