Nah. I know I'm not really one to talk considering that I got one and tried really hard to get one because I couldn't live with my old name, but imagine how confusing it would be if we allowed it?
no, ppl shouldnt be able to change there name wenever they wanna. but u should be able to send in requests, like that other thread from a long time ago where u could send a request to edit ur username, but not completely change it.
id love to be able 2 get the underscores in my username changed 2 spaces. or even maybe just shorten it 2 doc.

I'm happy with my name, but yeah, the option should exist.
I do agree that people shouldn't be allowed to change it infinite amount of times, but if someone wants to change it just once, it's unfair to deny them that.
Just allow them one chance so that they don't do it at the drop of a hat.
