An amazing debut from an artist I initially hated. Carrie surprised me so much with this album. She is a star, and she is here to stay. The best track is the killer "Before He Cheats". Carrie shows so much strength in her vocals on this track, and the lyrics are killer. "I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4-wheel drive, carved my name into his leather seat. I took a Louisville Slugger to both headlights.." "Some Hearts" is filled with great country/pop songs that leave you wanting more from this Checotah, Oklahoma star.
