My current faves: Rihanna - Pon de Replay. I saw the video in August of 2005 and knew the girl had potential, so I started stanning. Nicki Minaj - A few weeks after Massive Attack came out. May 2010, I believe. Big Bang - February 2007, not long after they had debuted. I just thought they were so adorable and I KNEW they would become something. 2NE1 - March 2009. They debuted with a single featuring Big Bang, and I knew they had potential to be huge as well.

Jennifer Lopez - May 1999. I had loved the bitch beforehand as an actress but I became a stan once she expanded into music, I DIED of happiness and started stanning. I stopped stanning in 2007, upon the Brave release, after she had delivered 3 mediocre albums in a row. Lady Gaga - Started stanning due to Just Dance in May 2008. Stopped stanning due to Alejandro video in June 2010.
I usually start stanning for people right when or not long after they debut. I have to be immediately in love with an artist to start stanning for them. Stanning is never a process for me. They have to grab my attention right away.
