Pretty big drops for all movies. Potter actually had the second best hold of the entire top 10. The Smurfs fell 35.3%, Rise of the Planet of the Apes 27.1% and Captain America: The First Avenger 23.2%
It's still making more than Half-Blood Prince every day, so there's nothing to worry about.

Sorry for the late update, I was on my way to the airport. As for the numbers, Potter had once again the second best hold of the top 10!

It's holding very nicely, despite losing a bunch of screens. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince went on and made an extra $11,720,674 from this point on. Deathly Hallows: Part 2 would end up with $377.6 million if it starts making the same numbers as Prince. It's still grossing roughly $250K more on a daily basis, so it will be interesting to see how far it can go.

Its foreign numbers are finally updated. It's a shame Warner Bros. doesn't update it daily, like Paramount does for Transformers. Anyway, this week it made an extra $42.2 million overseas, lifting its MAJOR foreign total to $900 million.

It took a big hit because of Irene and the big loss of theaters. Revenge of the Sith might not be so easy to reach anymore, but if it does it will be very close.
The week is over and the foreign numbers have been updated again. It grossed an additional $22.4 million, bringing its overseas total to $923.4 million.

I decided not to update the thread daily anymore, so it's been a while. Potter has been holding on incredibly well and it's pretty much a given it will pass Revenge of the Sith. It would have to start making less money than Half-Blood Prince from this point on to miss it and that's near impossible. It is showing great late legs, probably due to fans wanting to see it one last time in theaters.

In the past week it has made an additional $13.6 million overseas. At this point I don't even know what to say anymore. I mean, its GRAND total is now up to $937 million. That's more than most Harry Potter movies grossed worldwide.
