Great to see The Help and Apes holding up well. Damn shame about Fright Night saw today and thought it was great. A real fun movie with a great cast, I think they should have held this until October.

Spy Kids, Conan, Fright Night and One Day

Too bad about Fright Night, it's almost as good as the original. Colin Farrell (officially box office poison, if there was any lingering doubt) is really fun - and sexy - as the vampire.

Do you still think it will make $200 million? It's not going to have the Oscar boost that The Blind Side got.

It depends on how well it continues to hold, but $200M is probably a little bullish. It only cost $25M.

Viola Davis will be nominated - I think that's almost a guarantee. She deserves it. She steals the movie.

Yes, but it will be out on DVD by then so it's not going to benefit its box office gross. I think 150 is more realistic.

Wow! The Help is doing amazing! I am also sad to see Fright Night not fare so well. But maybe it's final WW tally will be enough to make profit.
