I forgot this: Mandatory classes lessen each year.
Grade 9 - Mandatory (English, French, Math, Science, Geography, Gym) and 2 electives/options
Grade 10 - Mandatory (English, Math, Science, History, Careers/Civics) and 3 electives/options
Grade 11 - Mandatory (English, Math) and 6 electives/options
Grade 12 - Mandatory (English) and 7 electives/options
Careers/Civics are two separate classes, but each one takes up half of the same semester.

Ours go like this...
Grade 10 - Mandatory: 2 English (English Writing & English - General or Academic), Math (General, Academic or AP), Science (General, Academic or AP), and Geography (Canadian Geography or Ancient History - General or Academic, only for Canadian geo). Then you can pick 3 others classes to your liking.
Grade 11 - Mandatory: English (General or Academic), Math (General, Academic or AP), A Science (there's many different choices, there's robotics, and the normal chem, bio and I cannot remember the other one - General, Academic or AP), and Geography (Canadian Geography or some other **** - General or Academic). Then you can pick 3 others classes to your liking.
Grade 12 - Mandatory: English (General or Academic), Geography (Canadian Geography or some other **** - General or Academic). You don't have to take math or science, but to graduate with honors, you have to. Then you can pick 3 or 5 others classes to your liking.
You need 20 credits to graduate (I believe). So you can only fail 4 classes to graduate.
I currently have eight.
