It's hard being gay. The people you love sometimes don't accept you for who you are and even people you don't know seem to have an opinion on your rights - your right to marry, your right to adopt a kid, even your right to make love with your partner. So let's stop the hate and let's learn to accept & love people for who they are on the inside. This isn't a PSA, this is just my story and I hope it inspires one of you to do something a little differently. Make it a point to not tease a gay kid in your class. Maybe make it a point to tell your gay friend that it's okay.
And if you're gay, maybe this will help you see that you aren't alone, no matter how lonely it gets.
