We're less than one week removed from the release of Lil Wayne's latest single off Tha Carter IV, the Drake-assisted "She Will," and an Atlanta-based rapper has come forward accusing Weezy of stealing the beat. According to Keep It Trill, the ATL spitter, J-Lie, alleges that the beat for his song "Letting Go," which dropped this past April, was jacked by Weezy for "She Will."
J-Lie said that he saw the same video we posted of Weezy recording "She Will" and felt the need to let the world know that he had the beat first. Could this be a case of a producer, in this case T-Minus, selling the same beat twice? It's definitely possible considering this type of thing has happened before.
The beat sounds pretty similar to us. You can compare for yourself below.
It is on the producers head because he picks and chooses who he gives his beats to& he made the beat not Lil Wayne & none of the lyrics are the same so it cant really be classified as stealing.
J-Lie is actually a pretty good rapper. I can't believe Lil Wayne would sink that low.
He didn't make the beat !!! It's the producer.. It's not Waynes fault but anywaz nothing was stolen according to the producer Wayne and Drake recorded the song before
