Am I the only one who wanted Britney to perform? I know she's not her former self, but having seen her on tour, I know she's still about a hundred times better than those sleepwalking "GMA" and "Jimmy Kimmel" appearances would suggest. I wish she could go out there, redeem the travesty of the 2007 VMAs, show the haters that she's still got something left in her and prove that her legacy is not dead. I know it would never stand up the epic 2000 "Oops! or 2001 "Slave 4 U" performances, but she certainly wouldn't embarrass herself. I don't know, I guess I just miss having her be a part of the day-after watercooler buzz.
