Billboard has performed a form of "double counting" when calculating the
sales figure for Katy Perry's Last Friday Night. It has included the sales
figure for the second version of the song featuriing Missy Elliot. It has
then advertised the combined sales figure as being representative of the
first version.
It's actually quite misleading and deceptive. Katy Perry should be lumped in with this deception.
I have no intention on moving on. The truth can't be hidden despite the marketing spin of Capitol and Billboard. Billboard especially is responsible for the misleading number 1.
