Well an MTV insider who told us about the remix also said that shes gonna perform.

Desperate or not, Capitol is doing a BRILLIANT job to keep the song alive until the VMAs.(where it gonna get a boost again) Many of you said it will be over by then but it looks like it wont.
Seriously without these remixes and disscounts it would have already fallen out the top 10 on iTunes. Kudos for Capitol for this.
