They better have added in those $23 bucks
I my mom spent on my tickets as well as hers today at 4:50pm before doing the results.
But it's alright.. honestly, I am upset over it, and I love Glee so much, and it was such a great concert film, but it had REALLY TOUGH competition this week.. The Help, which was a surprising appearance at #2, Apes which was obviously going to go #1 again, Final Destination 5 with tons of horror fans, 30 Minutes or Less, and Harry Potter which is still dominating after months of release. That's a movie for everyone. Action/adventure, drama/Oscar-buzz-like, horror/thriller/gore, comedy, sci-fi/big series finale.. and sadly, Glee was just the odd man out.
When you think about it.. you're in the movie theater, would you see an actual movie, or a concert? You came to the theater to see a movie and with all those options in just one week, Glee really isn't the majority decision.. especially with the fact that all the other movies were heavily promoted, maybe even more than the 3D film.
I actually think that it'll be one of those rare movies to go higher than it did in it's first week.
