Wanted - 6.7/10
Really interesting this film! On the contrary of the critics that I read a lot the movie is pure creative and different because shows the exaggerated and the impossible on a completely acceptable context! If people merely want to see possible and commons things just read the newspaper and not a movie. A movie needs to be creative and it can also be surreal, since the events fit and have a connected end. Bullets that make curves, bullets with goodbye, cars jumping over others! Two of the functions of the cinema from action are entertaining and make magic, do not forget that.
Bridesmaids - 6.2
I even found the movie funny in some scenes, like the one of the dressing-room, which was hilarious. But I still don’t know, I haven’t found that great. Some jokes took much time and some others are too forced. It’s not a movie that I plan to watch it again. It’s far to be bad, however it’s not that great as great people say.
A Perfect Getaway - 6/10
Good suspense is the one where everything is shown to the viewer and only in the end he will understand how all these pieces fit together. Already fake suspense like this, cheat, and omits important scenes dialogues plant inaccurate and false. So much so that in its outcome, the director David Twohy had to do just a short cut to explain where the killers came from, and only then, showed cut scenes to circumvent the reasoning of the public. It’s called incompetence of foul play or screenplay. It’s a shame because the production is very well crafted, there is sure to achieve success in the surge, and the end can be considered as the propaganda film, electrifying. Still, the script slips again with a strange outcome where certain character totally changes his mind for no apparent reason, or rather convincing. A Perfect Getaway meets all the technical issues that may have the best productions - including some of the most beautiful landscapes - but fails miserably to develop a coherent story and sincere to its audience.
127 Hours - 7.2/10
Everything in the film is well balanced and executed in a safe and clean way. The steering is responsive and always creative by Danny Boyle, the interpretation of James Franco is amazing and charismatic, the editing and screenplay by Jon Harris Boyle and Simon Beaufoy are perfectly consistent with the proposal: transmit agony, despair, emotion besides playing the spectator ‘in the hole’ Allied to a ‘single place’, the psychological factor is worked so bewildering and aflitante that the viewer seems to be beside toward the protagonist suffering along with it. What makes the ambient going even more agonizing is the fact that we feel weakened by wanting to help him and can not, of wanting to scream for help and to not leave his voice. The climax and the soundtrack of ‘happy ending’ in the outcome are creepy and extremely exciting. The relief of suffering and recovery of the breath at the end leave the viewer entranced with the movie by Danny Boyle, once again, makes a magnificent job.
Tamara - 4.3
Well, what shall I say? It's a really cliche movie and some scenes make me remember about Carrie, others remember I Know What U Did Last Summer and anothers. The cast isn't big deal, but in my opinion, they don't give much to desire. The script doesn't deepen as much as it should have been and the dialogue isn't much interesting. It's light-year far away from being a median movie but still it's enjoyable for fun.
Cherrybomb - 6.2/10
The movie's proposal even is kinda interesting, however bad developed due to a weak screenplay and a production really confined; the soundtrack and the photography seem to be the only elements that suited really well; the visual resources, like it has been said, it's also interesting, thus as for some dialogues - which in its majority, those said by the character of Robert Sheehan, but everything visibly poorly explored. The cast, probably the last element that could bolster the movie, it's very lifeless. Robert Sheehan was the only one who had a spare performance, because his character was the only one that could have a little more development in the story, which no doubt gave greater basement to his performance, Rupert's one isn't bad, but with a character so shallow there wasn't much he could do.
Super - 6.3/10
The movie's aesthetic is interesting; it starts a comedy apparently pretentious and slapstick, however the screenplay goes pushing on you and the movie keeps creating a way that you don't except, ending like a convincing drama. Right before the end I though "damn the guy kinda screwed all up, lost his team girl and all that only to save the woman who was despising him" but the end was really persuasive. Cool, the script much goes right so as much as it fails, but there are moments which are good, like the surreal divine messages, the heroic Christians episodes, nevertheless the violence really visceral. The initial comparisons with Kick-Ass are inevitable, but there is something more human and believable, the end just proves it.
Kick-Ass - 7.1
Kick-Ass is, for sure, a fine homage to super heroes. Besides entering on a cliche universe, however peculiar, from the characters (special abilities, graphic violence, good humor, and really versus evilness), the film brings a curious narrative which accosts the contrast between existentialism and the consequences of being a 'demigod'. The production, inspired in the graphic novel by John Romita Jr. and Mark Millar, is really well directed by the Britain and the debutant Matthew Vaughn. Apart from the cool balconies of metalanguage and creativity in conducting cameras, Vaughn brings a clever script that prints a breathtaking pace balancing drama, action (with inventive scenes and quality) and comedy in good measure. Telling more details about the heroes in "Kick-Ass" would be such a immorality. The amazing true story about the 'alter egos' work as well as the stories of famous 'vigilantes' on crime. Kick it Hit-Girl!
Rango 8.5/10 Perfect animation, really funny, original, terrible storyline and awful ending. Gnomeo and Juliet 7/10 Good animation, boring storyline and awful adaptation of Elton songs. Shrek wannabe. Mars Needs Moms 9/10 Hideous animation, original but kinda messy, touching storyline. Hop 5/10 The bunny is cute, the rest is hell. Battle: Los Angeles 7.5/10 Meh. The idea was good, but it was completely wasted.
Prayers For Bobby - 8.1/10
How many teenagers like Bobby didn’t get through for the same as he. The despair, to the collection from a religious family that seen its being, what really he was like, as a disease. How many teenagers didn’t destroy their lives in account to the explanations of bible’s passage which the catholic church decreed as the only one. When, the reality is another, there’s no explanation for nothing in this life. And much less in a human being. On how to act, which person to love… As if we had chosen, as if we could choose who we attract, in love, or love. On a society where the prejudice, due to the lack of information and values completely scrambled. Being like Bobby was a crime, a sin. However, not everybody had strengths to fight and go on. They let themselves being overcome, not standing all the pressure and lack of understanding. What led Bobby’s mother to go further and look for answers and discover new concepts, new truths. Bobby’s story is old. But its reality is topical, the reality of many young people who spend or have spent the same as Bobby and his family went through. This film serves as a lesson to many families whose minds have been poisoned by some kind of religion or “messenger of God.”
Mother's Day - 6.4
Surprising movie in a good way. A story really well elaborated and more, still well executed. Performances from all the cast really good but definitely the stronger is Rebecca de Mornay'. Always with the same nuts face along with a excellent performance. Rebecca's performance was crazily good, she mixed the sadistic with calmness in a excellent form. One thing I liked, beside the characters aren't mentions for intelligence, they weren't the typical dumb teenagers, were adult people afraid and acting on under pressure and control. I found that really nice. It left the movie with a serious tone. Another thing, it has no jokes at crucial moments, it was taken very seriously, it also counted a lot. If you like violent thrillers, plus plenty of blood and tension, this will appeal you in full. A pity that it hasn't gone to the cinema, certainly deserved a chance.
and pop culture today, as well as how it's changed from just a small show to something known worldwide. But enough about the comparisons, the dancing was spectacular in the concert, the singing was amazing (especially Lea and Amber, as usual), and it was just such a cheerful feeling watching the whole thing, especially when you couldn't go to the actual concert because the tour didn't come to your area . Also, not to mention that the 3D effect on the film didn't have much of an effect at all, really, it made it a tiny bit more enjoyable and in-your-face, but it didn't really have any need since nobody was jumping off the stage or slinging microphones around or whatnot. But overall, this film is 100 minutes of fun, talent, screaming, and just good entertainment (and possibly a few sad moments if the 3 stories hit home for you.) If you're a Gleek, it's just obvious you will love it.. if you're not, then it may surprise you.
GLEE: THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE
Though Glee is my favorite show of all time and has already impacted my life in a big way in such a short time, this is actually NOT my favorite 3D concert movie out of the 3 previous big ones to come out (Miley/Hannah, Jonas Bros, and Bieber). Just as these three have different features than the others, this one does the same. There wasn't any really big intro, it just went straight into the music. After every 1, sometimes 2, and once- 3 - songs, there would be either be a little backstage bit with some of the cast (which most of them were pretty funny), or a little fangirl-screaming frenzy with tons of Gleeks with signs and saying who their favorite character was, etc.. but not only that, they did something none of the 3D concert movies have done before.. actually took 3 people, and made them the stars as well. When the little breaks between the songs weren't backstage footage, there was a story of 3 people who were inspired by Glee and talked about how it changed their life. One is someone who was gay and Glee helped him come out to the world & accept himself, another is a dwarf who is a cheerleader, got the boyfriend she was crushing on and got prom princess at her school, and the last being a girl who is not only overweight, but has Asperger's, which caused her to be socially awkward and not have many friends.. but then due to Glee, became friends with many Gleeks and has watching parties as well as trivia games about the stars and more. Though it's a nice touch, it also has a disadvantage. When you pay extra money for the three-dimension experience and you came to see a concert full of the Glee cast, you want to see them and them only. It was definitely a risk to put regular people in there, sharing their stories about how Glee changed their lives. But at the same time, it also made you think about how much the show has impacted people

Lindsay Lohan, who at the time seemed to be releasing a million amazing movies at once (with Mean Girls coming out two months after this premiered), stars in yet another Disney movie after the memorable Parent Trap. This movie, sadly, had tons of negative reviews and flopped hard in the box office. In my opinion, it did not deserve either of those things and is actually one of my favorite Disney movies. Lindsay did great as a true drama queen, the script- especially for her lines- was very sophisticated and smarter than some of Disney's usual stuff. I also love it, especially now, because it's always fun to see LiLo back when she was beautiful, loved, and wasn't the mess unfortunately is today.. and not to mention Megan Fox before she was really famous with the Transformers movies, as well as some of her own projects. The acting at times was a bit below average and some parts were a bit random, where as other parts were funny, sad, or whatever they were meant to be. There were plenty of memorable scenes in this film and that's one of the big things on why it's a great movie. I especially love the ending where, of course, it's a happy ending.. and the little musical scene. Also, the soundtrack is one of my favorites of all time. Overall, it shouldn't have gotten the bad reviews and results in the box office and is a nice, cute film, and one of the best live action Disney movies out of their collection.

My personal favorite part was where Shrek & Donkey went back to the castle in the first movie, gave me and probably tons of others who saw it memories of the movie that started it all. But the credits were also amazing, where they did little flashbacks of things from the previous films and gave me the same feeling. I'd say that if you didn't like the third movie, you may not like this one. If you liked them all, it will continue to this one. Hopefully Puss In Boots coming in November will be as great as these movies.
SHREK FOREVER AFTER
After three (or for the majority that hated the 3rd, two) amazing Shrek films.. you can definitely tell that expectation were pretty high for this final installment. With the previews, I didn't really know what to expect in the quality of the movie, with what seemed to be a plot that has been done dozens of times, a few jokes, tons of character changes, and it almost seemed like it was going to be a straight-to-DVD thing instead of a theatrical release. But when I started watching it, it was just the normal introduction with a little storyline about how Shrek is basically annoyed with his current life, he signs a paper that basically gets rid of everything and he has one day by himself, though Fiona, Donkey, Puss, etc. don't remember him and he has 24 hours to make Fiona love him again or he's done after 24 hours. When the good stuff comes, it started going insanely fast. While watching this, I paused maybe once or twice and it felt like I watched 20 minutes so far, and it was about 50 minutes in. The whole thing felt almost like a TV show episode rather than a movie, but even though the first two were classics, and the third was hilarious (but sadly hated), this maintains it's entertainment throughout and was a nice finale.. and of course, you know that they live happily ever after.

Green Lantern: 5.5 | 10
I felt the movie was just too slow and the ending was just a mess! Also the special effects were just fine, I mean, with the budget they had they should've been mindblowing, not just fine and there were some effects that were awful. Captain America is a lot better
