Why do you think pop is the most looks-oriented genre in music? Do you think too much emphasis is put on it?

What if the person is just average looking?

It still can work out with the right image + music & talent, look at Gaga. No shade or flame bait because I'm a fan so don't even start.

ADELE isn't ugly at all. She's extremely pretty. I love her eyes.

Idk but everything about Pop music is fake. It's dumb.

GaGa is very pretty too. Anyone wouldn't look stunning wearing some of the things she wears.

I never understood the whole image thing..... probably why I despise artists like Madonna, Britney, Gaga, Katy & Ke$ha so much. Especially when artists like P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, etc suffer because of it and their music is vastly superior in every way.

This is an interesting topic.
All I know is that all the people on this website who claim to be here "only for the music" are full of it.
We all need to come to terms with the fact that the pop music we all know and love is growing to rely more and more on image, and less and less on the music..

Adele is NOT ugly. however I can name others.

I don't know about that. But okay.

Anyway, looks do not sell albums. Maybe singles, but not albums.

I don't the mind the visuals, like with GaGa. I love that. I love creating a look.

But I'm talking about if a popstar came along that wasn't considered beautiful like everyone else. Even with make-up on.

A lot of pop stars are average looking or what you might call ugly. They just wear crazy outfits, facial prosthesis and crazy makeup to make up for it.

And Adele is very pretty so don't try it.

Adele may be heavyset, but her face isn't ugly.

I will never EVER get why people call GaGa ugly. Oh well.
