What male solo pop act was around in the late 90s? Get real. It was all about female singers and boybands. And there would be no NSYNC without Chris, he started the group. And lets NAWT act like Jive not only put in 200% effort in promoting Justified but the break up with Britney/Cry Me A River music video didn't help a tremendous amount. The man was on BET!

I try to get this in other peoples head as well when defending JC when people belittle his presence to the group. But Justin wasn't being egotistical, and you pretty much hit the nail:
That's why I sense an attempt to make a Brit vs Justin war (I spit at haters )
We would be seeing his face regardless, he was on Star Search and Mickey Mouse Club for starters. Were'nt those slight platforms for Britney, Christina and Destiny's Child for ex.?

Britney, Christina and DC are WOMEN. Pop female singers are always in.

Even though he REALLY should not have said that. I kinda have to agree with justin because of two words NICK CARTER… He was in BSB (who were the bigger group) look how well his solo career turned out.

You're looking at it in RETROSPECT, post-group in 2002.
Who was going to sign this?

It kinda breaks my heart when he does **** like this like making fun of Chris on the SNL Episode w/ Gaga.
I CANNOT imagine not getting No Strings Attached or the self-titled album without him.

If Chris didn't put him in his group Justine would be as 'heard' as Tony Lucca.
